Wake up to really, fully living...

...because Thanksgiving is more than a holiday!

{a beautiful life}...is meant to be lived

Appreciate and live the blessing of life in full by giving attention to the details, creating an environment that enriches, and taking time to consider beauty in all its forms-- like the beauty of a simple, quiet life, a loving family, sweet moments with a precious child, and an existence with a purpose.

'a beautiful life' scripture

"He who pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor." Proverbs 21:21

my family

My husband, Jim {JAC, James}--a man of integrity, smart, kind-hearted, helpful, intense, faithful, friendly, active, fun, dedicated to us, athletic; most enjoys spending time with his kids and family, camping, fishing, vacations, 'working the land', driving his tractor, and coaching. To sum him up--he loves family life, hard work, & doing good. I couldn't ask for more. Jim is an industrial/manufacturing engineer by degree from OSU, but has worked 19 years for Daimler Trucks, formerly 'Freightliner', as a manager at corporate.

the kids 2010-11

Jess, Drew, and Cate--ages 11, 9, and 5--smart, happy, athletic, funny, caring kids with lots of personality--I am so proud of each one, and that they are growing up to love & trust in God. They are going to know their purpose in life, and know that they have a higher calling. What a blessing they are to their father and me!
