'Specious' refers to the brilliant combining of 'special' and 'precious' in Cate's budding toddler vocabulary.
"My 'specious' one!" she cried in the car yesterday when her brother was holding a stuffed animal she wanted.
We were all amused and delighted in her innocent cuteness.

How funny! Ethan is saying "Oh my cow!" A combo of "Oh my word!" and "Holy Cow!" I love it.
